I know on Toyotas that the valve cover, to which the coils are supposedly bolted, on your vehicle, can be electrically isolated by the rubber v.c. gasket and the bolt-grommets. Was a grounding wire left off? It seems that your symptom doesn't make fodder, but ... Login to read more.
