Yes this is a big problem Russel. I had a Chevy PK recently with the flat style cap that had the same problem you just mentioned, crossfiring in cylinders 3 and 5. I ordered a new aftermaket cap and got a misfire on 2 and 6 as soon as the engine started. Yup, ... Login to read more.
