02 Ford Ranger EGR Monitor Enable

2002 Ranger, 2.3, MT. 1FTYR10D12TA15### Having trouble running EGR monitor (for state insp). Mitchell says 0-45 3x. Are there any special criteria i'm missing? (temp?)
