minimum idle air flow test

Can some one tell me how you perform the minimum idle air flow test to set the base idle on a chrysler lhs 3.5 v6. I have the snapon snanner & the minimum air flow air metering fitting(6457) JUST NEED THE PROCEDURE PLEASE!
