hey paul i can enlighten u some on the duramax engine, biggest problem w/engine is wrist pin retainers break causing wrist pin to chew up cylinder walls, excessive oil consumption & HEAVY SMOKE!!! is all u get and some engine noise.. keep in mind this engine i... Login to read more.
