Howdy Charles. Looks like you've gotten a lot of good info. Check that your firing order is 1-3-4-2 and that the distributor shaft rotation is CCW on this engine. Coil polarity (negative to points) as mentioned by others. Glen mentioned that he runs R45 plugs.... Login to read more.
