OK. Flushed the crap out of it with Cascade dishwashing powder which has the good stuff -- TSP. A new oil slick started to form and it has leak detection dye in it. I say the block has to be cracked as this is a pushrod motor with rocker arms on pedestals and ... Login to read more.
