I'm with Tony on this. On Steering racks that we work on (Jaguars, etc) there is a torsion bar that is secured to the pinion gear with a solid pin. I have seen re-builders use roll pins, that eventually break, causing feather-touch steering. I'm not too sure h... Login to read more.
