Nissan Stazas from the 80's Fuel pump/ECM repair tip

Hi folks!

Dan Foster wrote asking about an 86 Nissan Stanza Wagon 2.0 L with a howling fuel pump and (apparently) a voltage drop on the ground side of the fuel pump circuit,which pump he priced out at almost $500.00.
