I own a `69 Continental 2-door sedan/non Mark, it's the same setup. Wipers are hydraulic off of the power steering pump, which is mounted behind the crank pulley/balancer. It uses vacuum to actuate the wiper motor for the wash cycle, and yes, they are variable... Login to read more.
