Hugh, I had a 2006 Chevy Avalanche 5.3l that also had a misfire at idle only, it would start to smooth out just off idle and ran perfect above 1200 RPM. I check the normal suspects , ignition, injector balance test, intake leak , checked fuel trims ect. & also... Login to read more.
