Re: Which tool for GM's heater hose connector?
I use the one with splines, available from Lisle, SO, etc. Sometimes it strips out. Then I drill it with a 45/64" bit, then tap it a 1/2" pipe tap. Just don't tap too deep, or the fitting will bottom out. Even with tapping, the job only take about 20 min. Login to read more. ![]()
