You are correct, I just couldn't find the exact literature to cut and paste. The 12v bias on the "transmit" (TX) line refers to a DRB3 being hooked up to the DLC. I'm not sure what other tools would be, possibly just 5V. The 12V bias from the DRB3 is for ISO-K... Login to read more.
