Oil temp on water cooled engines run up to 100*F higher than coolant temp. On the aircraft engines I work on and fly, the beginning of the green operating range is 100*F to 250*F being red line. But, these are air cooled Lycoming & Continental aircraft engines... Login to read more. ![]()
