Pete is correct about the SCI wires for OBD2 communication, 0-12v to initiate, then 0-5 to talk. The two wires ARE different however. At the DLC, pin 6 is the "receive" wire, pin 7 the "transmit" wire. WITHOUT the scan tool hooked up there should be 12v on the... Login to read more.
