Hi Ed:

I had that setup on my 75 power wagon and keep trying to forget it. Torque the nut to 100 ft/lbs and tighten until the cotter pin hole lines up. Thats what my Motors book said,but I think most were hit with an impact until the holes lined up. Login to read more.
