Probably has a vct falling apart, jamming, leaking oil. Take the belt off and see if you can feel wobble or pull out on the pulley/vct. The center is bolted solid to the cam and the mechanism fails allowing it to drift outwards. An enormous oil leak is usually... Login to read more.
