Re: False CMP code
On most systems, CMP is only necessary on start up to sync. ignition and injection. See if the engine dies if you disconnect it. My guess is it will not which points you back to the CKP. Depending on the fault criteria, loosing one can fault the other. I had o... Login to read more. ![]()
