I just looked up this VW. I assume it is a 1.8T. If so it is eqipped with a 6 wire bosch A/F Sensor and that heater circuit is not designed to light a Headlamp. The heater current is typically pulsed from 0-2 amps 1.5 amps is acceptable. If it's no... Login to read more.
