Dean ,as far as I know no one ever made a 5 volt turn on SI series regulator. You can buy a self exciting regulator that will still operate the warning lamp. you can also wire it to any keyed 12v circuit with a 3 amp axial diode in series. Call a local rebuild... Login to read more.
