Re: Breaking starter nose cones
IF the starter sounds good when cranking, then clearance is probably OK. Most likely kickback breaking the nose cones. But to check your clearance, I always used a 1/8" allen wrench. The wrench should slide in easily and turn, but it will not turn past the cur... Login to read more. ![]()
