About the time that GM stopped licensing Dexron III Shell Oil discontinued manufactoring Dexron II, Dexron III, Mercon, Mercon V, ATF+3, ATF+4 and started making a Universal ATF. I have been using it with no problems in vehicles calling for these fluids. Login to read more.
