Ive done 1 4.0 HG in almost 30 years. Maybe I am the exception, but I kinda think an air pocket will do as you describe. Not sure about 10psi though. If you have an emissions analyser I'd snif the thing for HC in the cooling system. While not always a 100% way... Login to read more.
