While looking at a '96 Corolla (1.8, automatic) I saw to PCM cycle the egr VSV on & off serveral times on 4 or 5 back to back test drives. I would get EGR on when I expected it at light accel and cruise. The on/off would occur after having EGR on for a few sec... Login to read more.
