My thoughts are your second pic shows a shorted coil primary. The current should ramp up (as in slope) not have a vertical rise and then ramp up. On that old car looks like you need to replace the coil and ignitor. That coil is an ignitor killer if I ever saw ... Login to read more. ![]()
