Re: Pinion Gear Marking
The -1 is the only relevant number, this is your pinion
variance, meaning they want it installed .001 shallower
(thinner pinion shim) than the specified height. If your
original gearset had a +3 (for example), you'd need to
remove .004 of pinion shim. ![]()
