I agree about checking the CMP & CKP by a disconnect to see if you get communication back. I'd do that first.

The 0.5V-Ref can also be caused by a shorted sensor. You may have to start unplugging all sensors that have a V-Ref lead. Don't forget power steerin... Login to read more.
