Please explain to me how a CKP/PCM measures torque, Batman.

I can see it measuring the crankshaft speed in very small increments and allow the PCM to "time" accelerations or power pulses (or lack thereof), but to measure torque, I'd think we'd need a CKP at ... Login to read more.
