I think an empty 1 ton van on a 9,000 lb lift is going to be a fairly safe combination. I have a 6,000 lb Rotary at work and I'm pretty confident with anything 1/2 ton or smaller that isn't loaded. I'll lift a 3/4 or 1 ton but only waist high. Vans in general ... Login to read more.
