The Motors book I have begins at 1949 with Willys and shows specs for a 49 134CID 4 cylinder but for some reason lacks the timing chain set-up proceedure. It does show the 6 cylinder 226 set-up as "10 chain pins (or 9 links) between the timing (punch) marks". ... Login to read more.
