We used to do it on rear drive Chevys. Remove the bell housing bolts and insert two long bolts to keep everybody lined up, remove the the torque converter bolts, remove trans mount bolts. Slide trans back an inch or two, remove the flex plate bolts with a wren... Login to read more.
