It may be one of those situations where it might not matter a whole lot. Like early (96 and 97-ish) Chrysler VIN in PCMs without SKIM. It said "may set a code"... ok, but it didn't seem to cause a problem like SES light or running issue... it just didn't have ... Login to read more.
