Hey John, I don't think I've ever seen CO2 readings when checking head gaskets with a gas analyzer, always HC's. Since HC's alone are not conclusive, I always follow up with a cylinder leak down test to be sure. It's a real hoot when you get to that leaking cy... Login to read more.
