We see this problem on Jettas 2-3 times a year. Sometimes the thermostat is stuck open, sometimes it's openning too soon. I have replaced the CTS due to corrosion at the connector. But the thermosat has by far been the most popular fix for the Jetta P0116 code... Login to read more.
