Re: Does new rotors need to be cleaned?
I always clean the packing goop off with brake clean. As far as cleaning rotors after resurfacing, just blow them off with shop air. I have redone more brakes where people have put some kind of "no squeak", lube on hardware and other useless stuff on disc brak... Login to read more. ![]()
