Re: Does new rotors need to be cleaned?
A quick spritz from a spray bottle of water should tell you whether there's a water soluble coating on the rotor or not. If it beads, clean it thoroughly. If it doesn't bead, wet it and wipe it. Even the water soluble coatings can leave a residue in the pads. Login to read more. ![]()
