IMO the best way to test for parasitic draw is with a low amp probe and a scope. The reason why I like to use a scope is my ammeter isn't fast enough to see intermittant glitches. I had a Toyota awhile back that only showed about a 10mA draw. Battery would go ... Login to read more.
