Duramax water pump noise

I have installed an aftermarket water pump on a 2005 (LLY) motor in a GMC 2500HD truck. The water pump is gear driven off the cam. The replacement pump is noisy, with a sound like an over-tensioned timing belt, sort of a whining sound. I have confir... Login to read more.
