It sounds like the bearing is gone....I used to go through 020 boxes on a weekly basis, but I can't remember how far the rod drops back in the pilot shaft. It wouldn't do much good unless it was sticking out just a bit, so I'd say yank the back cover and pick ... Login to read more.
