Hi Ruben. I'm not clear if this stud is 7mm on one end and 8mm the other, or the same both ends, nor which end is up and which down, but no matter. Helicoils and other thread repairs work fine and are easy to do, just practice on a scrap first if you like. Den... Login to read more.
