Each MAF is calibrated for a specific engine. It's maximum signal will be achieved when the engine peaks at it's maximum airflow rate. If that MAF was removed from a 4 cyl engine and placed on a V8, would it accurately reflect the airflow for the larger engine... Login to read more.
