Jasper is wrong. 3.3/3.8 have the same casting number. They also have the same ID stamp on the rear left of the block.

To top that off... 3.8 liter cores cylinder walls are too thin to bore. So rebuilders often take a 3.3 core and bore it to the 3.8 spec and... Login to read more.
