Hey Jon, in MBZ and Volvo dealer school they taught that there was only one rear fog light so that the car didn't appear to be braking. If both tail lights lit up with fog lights, a car could conceiveably be pulled over by the police for an inop 3rd brake ligh... Login to read more.
