Did the broken rod have a good bearing still in it or did the bearing seize first? If the bearing is junk, I'd say it may have failed due to coolant migration into the lube oil. If the bearing is OK, I'd wonder if it had hydrolocked prior to your service and b... Login to read more. ![]()
