I can't help you with the injector impedence.

Sounds like it's a fueling issue. Duh! I wonder if the fuel pump is cavitating and you've gutta lotta vapor and no fuel volume. I might do a purge on the gauge when its lean and see if you get a lotta bubbles or ... Login to read more.
