Hi Tom -- Your point appoint mufflers is correct when you consider EGR sytem operation and back pressure.....But I have hung afew aftermarket mufflers ahead of the cats without any problems, due to the consideration of inlet and outlet sizes....I haven't hung ... Login to read more.
