Re: premature headlamp failure
When the bulb is off, the filament is cool. When a voltage is applied the filament heats up and gives off light. This heating and cooling come with some expansion and contraction, and too much of that too quickly can cause the filament to break. Basically a si... Login to read more. ![]()
