Hi Jeff.

Yes, cranking compression can be higher if the cam is advanced and gets the intake valves closed closer to BDC instead of after BDC. But I doubt that would cause it to raise to 240 psi. (Compression will be lower if the cam is retarded causing the i... Login to read more.
