It's been my experience (reliable, I might add) that at "overlap" with hydraulic lifters there will be no lash (no wiggle) to the rockers on the companion cylinder of one that's @ TCD compression. In theory, they'll both be partially open. Hasn't failed me yet... Login to read more.
