Re: 455CI pops at 5500 rpm
I'm pretty sure once the engine is stopped and a few minutes the lifters bleed down and all the rockers should be up. But yes, 5500rpm is tops on that motor, even with good valve springs, I would not rev past that. Be sure you've got adequate fuel pressure, vo... Login to read more. ![]()
